BLACK & WHITE
I owe my vintage spirit to all the black and white movies I've watched in my teenage years. I wanted to be like those women, in black and white movies or photographs, crystallised in a moment time.
My taste for black and white photographs never quite left me, although we live in a time where modern pictures are colourful. Being captured in black and white tend to add more mystery to the character and since I'm always inclined to what remains mysterious, I've developed a cool black and white collection of myself posing as a muse, consisting of mostly portraits where I pose with headdresses, or simply nude. Sometimes I would pose entirely as the woman I am without acting, and sometimes I'd pretend to become those actresses from old black and white movies again and again.
Those are, one of the many ways, I enjoy diversifying in front of the camera.
My only regret remains that I'll never pose for Helmut Newton, whom to me, remains the king of fashion art photography charged with an erotic essence that can never be ignored till this day.
I invite you now, to watch me become just like the women I've idolised back in my teens, through these photographs.
What a delight it is to finally become like them.
